INDIANA UNIVERSITY-PURDUE UNIVERSITY INDIANAPOLIS FACULTY POSITION IN MOTORSPORTS ENGINEERING The Motorsports Engineering Program at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), invites applications for one or more faculty positions at the rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer or tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor. A tenured appointment at the rank of Associate Professor will be considered for strong candidates. Candidates for the tenure-track position should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates for the Lecturer position should hold a M.S. or equivalent degree. Candidates must make it clear as to the position for which their application should be considered. All candidates should possess demonstrated ability to develop and teach a wide range of motorsports courses (e.g., structural mechanics, design, data acquisition, internal combustion engines), advise students, supervise design projects, and lead students to participation in racing events. Tenure-track candidates must also establish and sustain a research program. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the motorsports industry for all positions. Positions will be available August 1, 2012.
