The Delft Centre for Systems and Control (DCSC) coordinates the education and research activities in systems and control at Delft University of Technology. The Centre’s research mission is to conduct fundamental research for eventual application in areas of system analysis, optimisation, control theory and signal processing. Applications include mechatronics and microsystems, sustainable industrial processes, transportation and traffic control, and physical imaging systems. The group actively participates in the Dutch Institute of Systems and Control (DISC).
Job description
The Delft Centre for Systems and Control (DCSC) is looking for a new full Professor with a strong fundamental profile in nonlinear systems and control and/or robust control. The candidate should have a research profile that is complementary to the ongoing research topics of DCSC. In this context, potential fields of expertise of the full Professor could include:
; Robust control
; Nonlinear systems theory
; Control of nonlinear systems
; Distributed-parameter systems
; Adaptive systems and control
; Nonlinear stochastic systems
; Fault-tolerant control
Potential application fields include renewable energy, health, environmental control, bioprocess control, and aerospace. The new full Professor will have the opportunity to lead a team consisting of two Assistant/Associate Professors and several PhD students and post-docs.
