Degree and area of specialization:
DVM (or equivalent) required; MS or PhD desired; Board Certified (or Board eligible) in the American College of Theriogenologists (or equivalent international certification) strongly preferred. Interest in equine reproduction also preferred.
License/certification:
Must be eligible to obtain licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Wisconsin.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Academic experience beyond residency training preferred. Relevant practice experience can be substituted.
Principal duties:
Teaching, research, and service responsibilities to the Department, School and University in the area of veterinary reproduction. The candidate would be expected to teach at the professional and graduate student levels and be involved with continuing education programs for veterinary practitioners in Wisconsin.
