The "Science Beat" audio podcasts about research in Penn State’s Eberly College of Science have been selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for its streaming Internet radio show, "Science360 Radio." The Science Beat podcasts join NSF’s collection of radio programs, which stream live worldwide, 24/7 and also are available on the Web and via iPhone, iPad and Android devices. On Tuesday, Nov. 29, the Science Beat audio podcasts will be showcased as the featured show on the welcome page of NSF’s "Science360 Radio," at http://science360.gov/radio.
To find Penn State’s Science Beat podcasts on the NSF site on days when they are not the featured collection on the homepage, go to http://science360.gov/radio/shows/ , then click on "All Shows," then select page 7 from the row of page numbers at the bottom of the window, and look for "Science Beat." These podcasts also can be found directly by visiting http://science.psu.edu/news-and-events/video-and-audio.
NSF’s "Science360 Radio" features daily, weekly and monthly radio shows and podcasts from a variety of contributors, including science stories, radio documentaries, news conferences and other programming. Science360 Radio is a part of the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Science360 network. To listen to the live stream of Science360 Radio, go to http://science360.gov/radio/ and click the "Listen Now" link, or download the Science360 app for iPhone or Android devices.
